Apple To Get New Sandy Bridge Processor In June

first_imgIntel stopped shipping its long awaited Sandy Bridge processor, due to a defect. That threw in a wrench for computer manufactures, like Apple. While other companies have made do with what they have, Apple had to cancel all MacBook Air upgrade plans and manufacturing due to this issue. That doesn’t include other Apple computers that had been canceled on manufacturing or shipments.Apple and Intel have issued releases stating that they won’t get the new Sandy Bridge processor until June. This comes as a surprise, since Intel stated that it will begin to ship the new ones out as early as next week.
