LETTERKENNY SCHOOL TO CELEBRATE CENTENARY WITH SERIES OF EVENTS

first_imgLetterkenny Vocational School now Errigal College celebrates its centenary with a number of event over the next week. On St Patrick’s Day the school will have a float in the parade commemorating the past and the present. The float will include some of the activities that take place during the year along with an old style class room and its modern day equivalent.Open days will take place on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th between 10am and 4pm each day in the school. Old photographs and projects will be on show along with various other displays. There will be guided tours and music and refreshments will also be provided. All past pupils and members of the community are welcome to come along and sample the celebrations and bump into some old friends and teachers.A launch of the centenary book will also take place on Friday 20th at 6:30 in the school gym. Ms. Anne McHugh, Education Officer with Donegal ETB will officially launch the book.The weekend’s activities comes to a grand crescendo with the Dinner Dance on Saturday night at 7:30 in The Mount Errigal Hotel.
